Kitchen & Dining Room Opportunities

Kitchen Volunteers
Morning volunteers:         10:00 am - 1:00 pm, any day of the week
Afternoon volunteers:     2:30 pm - 5:30 pm, any day of the week

Duties include:

•    Working under supervision of our cooks
•    Prep work (making sandwiches, cutting desserts, making salads etc.)
•    Helping with kitchen clean up including dishes
•    Helping sort food
•    Helping serve meals   

Dining Room Volunteers - Sitting, Sipping & Socializing

Morning volunteer:         10:00 am - 12:00 pm, any day of the week
Afternoon volunteer:     3:00 pm – 4:30 pm, any day of the week
Evening volunteer:         7:00 pm - 9:00 pm, any day of the week

Duties include:

•    This is our front line ministry directly in the dining hall, having coffee with our clientele, chatting, listening
•    Opportunity, if desired, to give a short devotional before lunch or evening meals.
•    Working alongside assigned staff, assisting with the shower room, laundry room and luggage room and, in the evening, handing out late suppers.
