Helping Hands Store Volunteers: Cashier
Monday to Friday: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (three hour shifts)
Saturday: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm (three hour shifts)
Duties include:
• Customer service - helping customers find items of interest
• Organizing - restocking inventory, hanging clothes and arranging store layout
Helping Hands Store Volunteers: Receiving
Monday to Friday: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm (three hour shifts)
Saturday: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm (three hour shifts)
Duties include:
• Responsible for helping receive incoming donations when the truck returns from pick-up runs
• Sorting, hanging clothes, pricing items, cleaning items when needed
Helping Hands Store Volunteers - Testing and Repairing
Monday to Friday: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm (3 hour shifts)
Duties include:
• Responsible for testing and when necessary fixing lamps, radios, small electrical appliances as they are donated
• Practical experience - prefer electrician or electronics technician
