Making the Season Bright

I recently had the privilege of accompanying my eight year old grand-daughter to the “Nutcracker” put on by Ballet Kelowna. She was mesmerized, and I am not sure which I enjoyed more; watching an amazing production, or watching her in her fascination and pleasure. But as I thought back on that evening, another thought struck me. I am so blessed!

The Emerald City

I had a dream….one miserable night I walked through the pitch dark forest, frozen, hungry and lost, when eventually I came to a clearing where a light shone way off in the distance. As it guided my freezing body this light grew in brightness and just the sight of it alone warmed me up a touch.
