As Kelowna’s Gospel Mission continues to provide meals and shelter for the homeless and less fortunate in our community we’d like to mark Food Day, Saturday July 31st, with a huge thank you!
Beginning with serving coffee in the park over 30 years ago, Kelowna’s Gospel Mission now serves on average, over 500 meals a day to men, women and children in need. Our service and care would not be possible without the incredible generosity of our community.
Everyone, from farmers and orchardists, local chefs and restaurants, to individuals and businesses, have helped to make sure, that even though our numbers have increased, we have never turned anyone away because of lack of resources. We are truly blessed to have their support, and can’t thank them enough.
Kelowna’s Gospel Mission encourages everyone to mark Food Day by supporting local growers and food businesses.
