Case Worker – Full Time

We are looking for a Caseworker that is a dedicated and compassionate professional who plays a pivotal role in providing extensive support to individuals facing homelessness. This role encompasses conducting client assessments, crafting individualized service plans, and coordinating vital resources to assist clients on their journey toward stability. In addition, the Caseworker actively contributes to our mission of helping individuals transition out of homelessness.
The schedule for this position is full-time Monday – Friday
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with residents to develop and implement individualized plans outlining strategies and steps to address identified needs where they are at;

Conduct biopsychosocial-spiritual client assessments to identify immediate needs, long-term goals, and barriers to housing stability;

Promote a client-centered strengths-based approach, empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their lives and assisting them in setting and achieving their goals

Generate regular reports on client progress, program outcomes, and resource utilization for internal and external purposes.

Work inter-collegially with the Residential Support Worker Team, as well as the Outreach Team where appropriate, to support effective client-centered best practices;

Advocate for the rights and well-being of individuals experiencing homelessness within the community;

Perform other related duties as required.
Position Requirements

Completion of a college or university program in social work, psychology, or other social science or health-related discipline

Previous experience in casework or social services is an asset

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Teams, and other relevant platforms, for efficient documentation, data analysis, and collaboration.

Experience in a Shelter or related context, working with individuals experiencing homelessness, addiction, and mental health challenges.

Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening, and conflict resolution, to foster effective collaboration within the team and with residents
