We all know that poverty, addiction and homelessness are at record highs in Kelowna. However, at the same time, individuals like you are taking strides to meet essential basic needs in our community. People with a singular goal: advancing hope and positive change.
That's why we created Residents Initiating Social Elevation (RISE) as a special way to recognize those who contribute over $1,000 annually!
When you give to become a RISE donor, you'll join an informed and involved group of Kelowna’s Gospel Mission supporters committed to ending homelessness, addiction and poverty in our city. Plus, information on special updates, exclusive event invitations, as well as local networking opportunities with like-minded people.
Your generosity is currently helping to drive the success of our general programs and services, providing hot meals, safe shelter and other basic necessities. However, as RISE donors, you are also visionaries and architects of a better tomorrow. You'll have the unique opportunity to provide insight and direction, actively shaping long-term initiatives to address Kelowna's most pressing challenges.

Selah House
A pillar of hope and healing in our community — you helped secure Selah House for generations to come!
At a time when housing is out of reach for many, Selah House provides a secure, affordable place for women who have experienced homelessness. Thanks to you, rent is fixed at an affordable rate and includes utilities, cable, and high-speed internet. Residents share a kitchen and a common living space, partaking in the daily tasks of life together.
It's not just a roof and four walls; it's a safe space that encourages healing and hope for vulnerable women. Selah House is more than the sum of its parts. It's a place where women can build a life. A safe place that they can call home.
Dental Clinic
Your generous contributions have made our Dental Clinic a vital resource in Kelowna, providing essential care to anyone who needs it, underinsured or uninsured. Going beyond emergency care, we equip individuals with hygiene education and tools, increasing lasting oral health and minimizing the need for future dental work.
The sliding scale payment system ensures that financial constraints never prevent access to care. Because everyone knows that good oral health is foundational to overall well-being, boosting confidence, and empowering individuals to tackle life's challenges with renewed self-esteem.
